Jawed Naseer was abducted on 9th September 2011 about 9 Pm by Pakistani intelligence agencies from his Computer IT shop situated in Hub town. Eye-witnesses reported the abductors came in two cars and ransacked Mr.Rind’s shop.
It should be noted that the BNM central finance secretary Abdul Samad Tagrani was also abducted by the armed men of Pakistan military and intelligence agencies on same day in front of Zahid Medical Store in Hub town and his bullet riddled body was found on 3rd November 2011 from Khuzdar.
Jawed Naseer Rind was a local journalist associated with DailyTawar, a Balochistan based Urdu language newspaper and also member of Baloch National Movement (BNM). It pertinent to mention that in recent past Pakistani intelligence agencies and their hired death squads target killed and abducted several Baloch journalists.
There’s also an online petition campaign running for the safe recovery of Jawed Naseer Rind,“Save Life of a Baloch Journalist’’ But alas,this petition made no difference and Pakistan military and secret agencies killed him under custody and suffocated his voice once for all like hundreds of other Baloch youths.
