Hub,Ocupied Balochistan—At least three persons were killed and more than 10 others injured
in a head-on collision between a passenger bus and an oil tanker here on
Wednesday. According to police, a Karachi-bound speedy passenger bus coming from Gawadar collided head-on with an oil tanker in Uthal area near Hub.
Three persons were killed on the spot in the accident and more than 10 others sustained injuries. The rescue teams and locals reached the scene and started rescue operation. The bodies and injured were shifted to a local hospital where according to hospital sources the condition of three injured people was serious.
The injured passengers and eyewitness said that the accident took place due to over speeding and reckless driving as the bus driver was feeling tired and sleepy due to continuous and prolonged duty. It should be mentioned here that due to rush of people moving to native towns to celebrate Eidul Azha with their families, drivers have to remain in continuous movement up and down the country. As a result, the drivers get least time for rest and remain sleepy during the driving which causes accidents.

Levis officials told that passenger coach was way to Karachi from Gawadar when, presumably due to the over speed driver lost control over a vehicle and it rammed into an oil tanker coming from opposite side.
Resultantly, three occupants of the coach including Mohamamd Baksh and Nazir Ahmed died on the spot and 6 others sustained injuries. Soon after the incident, local administration reached the site and shifted the dead and injured to the nearby hospital. The dead bodies of the ill-fated passenger coach were handed over to the heirs.
