ISLAMABAD: Former president of Supreme Court Bar Association Asma Jehangir has warned that Balochistan was being pushed towards rebellion.
Talking to media persons at the Supreme Court here on Friday, Ms Asma Jehangir held former President Pervez Musharraf responsible for the murder of Nawab Akbar Bugti and said he must be tried in the court of law. She said it was wrong on the part of former Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz to dissociate himself from the murder of Bugti.
Answering a question about missing persons, the former SCBA President said that she and Advocate Munir Malik appeared before Justice Javed Iqbal in the court. She said that the retired judge now says that the missing persons would be recovered but questioned that while as a sitting judge, he could not do anything how he can provide justice to the affected families. She said judges cannot bring revolution as it is the people who spearhead the movement and bring revolutions.
