According to details BRP and BRSO have held references in different areas of Balochistan in the memory of Mir Shah Mohammad Bugti on his first death anniversary; Mr Bugti was killed by Pakistani security forces one year ago. Shah Mohammd Bugti was the brother of Sher Mohammad Bugti, the centeral spokesman of the Baloch Republican Party. The BRP leaders, Faisal Bugti and Shama Bugti, paid rich tributes to Shah Mohammad and other Baloch martyrs of liberation.
While rejecting the military’s claims of halting the offensive in Balochistan, they said that Pakistani atrocities were still continued. “On one hand the military claims that no operation is taking place in Balochistan on the other hand Baloch activists are being arbitrarily arrested and brutally tortures at secret military torture cells. Military is committing grave human rights violations by killing and dumping Baloch activists”, said BRP leaders.
They said that despite such atrocities the International Humanitarian Organisations have turned a blind eye and so far they have not taken any bold and practical steps against human rights violations in Balochistan.
The speakers said that Mir Shah Mohammad Bugti had followed the path of Nawab Bugti and sacrificed his life defending the motherland. Baloch youth should adopt the ideology of Baloch martyrs for the greater and national interest of Balochistan; be united among themselves and intensify the struggle against occupation. Baloch Nation will be victorious and defeat will become the fate of enemy.
